Patriot and Leader Join Marvel Contest's Murderworld
Marvel Contest of Champions' Murderworld event has arrived, bringing exciting new content! Running until August 7th, this update includes the X-Magica Showcase, the Spring of Sorrow Gauntlet, plus bug fixes and balance adjustments.
Murderworld: A Deadly Carnival of Chaos
Arcade, the master of lethal amusement parks, has unleashed his twisted Murderworlds within The Contest. These aren't your average theme parks; they're designed for both entertainment and annihilation. Arcade's goal? To achieve the highest body count possible. Players must outsmart Arcade's deadly games or even team up to conquer his lethal carnival.
Spotlight on New Champions: Patriot and The Leader
The Raft, the Battlerealm's maximum-security prison, is in lockdown due to a gamma radiation incident. The Summoner intervenes, encountering Patriot, who is in serious trouble. Meanwhile, The Leader's gamma-enhanced intellect is causing widespread mind control among friends and foes.
Patriot (Eli Bradley), grandson of a legendary Super Soldier, and co-founder of the Young Avengers, enters the fray on July 18th. His arrival is followed by The Leader (Samuel Sterns) on August 1st. Sterns, a former chemical plant worker, transformed into a super-genius after a gamma explosion, using his intellect for villainous purposes, becoming a formidable nemesis to the Hulk.
