Persona 5: The Phantom X Now Open for Android Pre-Registration Globally
The much-anticipated *Persona 5: The Phantom X* is finally set to make its way to a global audience, with pre-registration now open on Android. Initially launched in China a year ago, and later in Taiwan, South Korea, Macau, and Hong Kong, the game has now been slated for a global launch on June 26th, 2025, coinciding with its previously announced release date in Japan.
SEGA and Atlus are ensuring a comprehensive rollout, making the game available on Android, iOS, and PC worldwide. Developed by Black Wing Game Studio, with contributions from former *Persona 5* developers, *Phantom X* operates on a free-to-play basis, featuring a gacha system that allows players to recruit various characters to their party.
Persona 5: The Phantom X Global Pre-Registration Is Now Live
The global version will include Japanese voice acting with the choice of English or Japanese text, catering to a wide range of fans. If you're excited about diving into this new adventure, you can pre-register on the Google Play Store. Get a glimpse of what's to come with the first look video below!
In *Persona 5: The Phantom X*, you'll step into the shoes of a fresh protagonist, leading a new crew of Phantom Thieves. The game transports you to a stylized version of modern-day Tokyo, where you'll explore new palaces and mementos. Alongside the series' hallmark turn-based combat and dual-life rhythm, *Phantom X* introduces light social-simulation elements and dungeon crawling.
Additional features include a guild system and a PvE mode known as Velvet Trials, alongside appearances by familiar characters from the original *Persona 5*. The story begins with the protagonist waking up from a nightmare into a distorted reality, guided by a talking owl named Lefaye and the enigmatic Velvet Room crew, including the long-nosed man and his assistants.
That's the latest on the global pre-registration for *Persona 5: The Phantom X*. Stay tuned for more gaming news, including our next feature on Crunchyroll's Roguelike Combat Deckbuilder, *Shogun Showdown*.
