PlayStation Plus Gets 2 More Blockbusters Later This Month, Report Reveals
Two additional games are set to join the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogs, reportedly scheduled for release next week.
According to Dealabs, a reliable source for gaming news, both Assassin's Creed Mirage and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will become available to subscribers on Tuesday, December 16.
Mirage offers an enjoyable, city-sized entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, released in 2023 as a refreshing break from the expansive, country-scale epics that have come to define recent series installments. Its more focused gameplay, set against the backdrop of historical Baghdad's rooftops and alleyways, was warmly received by players.
Last month, Mirage received a significant update introducing six additional hours of gameplay set in modern-day Saudi Arabia, reportedly funded by local interests. The title has also recently been added to Xbox Game Pass as Ubisoft aims to maximize its player base.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is the 2023 historical action RPG from Team Ninja, creators of Nioh, loosely inspired by the Chinese classic Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Additionally, Dealabs notes that Soulcalibur 3 "expected" to be added to the PlayStation Plus Premium Classics Catalog, following its earlier confirmation during Sony's September State of Play presentation. Official details will arrive shortly.
Sony is anticipated to officially announce its December PlayStation Plus lineup later today. We will update this article with any additional titles as they are confirmed.
