Pokémon GO is launching a new Tour Pass on February 24th, adding to the excitement of the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova event. This event features Gen 5-themed wild encounters, raids, and egg spawns.

The annual Pokémon GO Tour celebrates a different region each year, coinciding with Pokémon Day. Past Tours have included Kanto (2021), featuring the debut of several shiny Pokémon, and Sinnoh (2024), which introduced special Pikachu variants and Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia.

This year's Unova Tour Pass runs from February 24th, 10 AM to March 2nd, 6 PM local time. A free Pass is available to all players, allowing them to earn Tour Points through daily tasks, catching Pokémon, raids, and egg hatching. Progress unlocks Minor and Major milestones, rewarding players with items like Candy and Stickers. Reaching the final milestone grants an encounter with a special Zorua. All rewards expire on March 9th at 6 PM.

Pokémon GO Announces New Pass for Unova GO Tour

Alongside the free Pass, a deluxe version will be available for $14.99 (or $19.99 for a version with 10 unlocked ranks) on the Pokémon GO webstore from February 24th, 10 AM to March 2nd, 6 PM. This deluxe Pass provides all rewards from both the free and paid tracks, an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Victini, and a new Lucky Trinket. This single-use item guarantees a Lucky Trade with a chosen friend, resetting their Lucky Friend status afterward. Like the free Pass, deluxe Pass rewards (including the Lucky Trinket) expire on March 9th at 6 PM.

The Unova Tour Pass enhances the anticipation for the upcoming event, which includes the debut of Kyurem Black and White via fusion, similar to last year's Necrozma fusion. Shiny Meloetta will also debut via ticketed Masterwork Research.
