Project NET, a thrilling third-person shooter spinoff of the popular Girls’ Frontline franchise, has officially opened pre-registration and a limited Shock Point Test! Read on to learn how to participate and discover more about this exciting new addition to the Girls’ Frontline universe.

Project NET: Pre-Registration Now Open

The highly anticipated mobile game, Project NET, launched its pre-registration on March 3rd, 2025, as announced via the official Southeast Asian (SEA) Twitter (now X) account.

To join the growing community of eager players, simply visit the official SEA website and click the "Pre-Register" button. You'll then need to provide your email address and select your preferred platform (iOS or Android). Pre-registration is also available on the official Russian (RU) website.

SEA Shock Point Test: Philippines Only

Alongside pre-registration, Project NET has announced a limited-access beta test, the "Shock Point Test," opening on March 4th, 2025. This test is exclusively for players in the Philippines and will be conducted on Android devices. The test is non-monetized, and all data will be wiped after completion. A similar Shock Point Test will also be held in Russia, with details available on the RU website. The developers are currently working on optimizing the game for a global launch.

Following completion of the recruitment questionnaire, successful applicants will receive confirmation emails between March 24th and 26th, 2025. Further test qualifications will be distributed throughout the testing period, the dates of which are yet to be announced.

Project NET: Unveiled in December 2024

Sunborn Network, the creators of the immensely popular Girls’ Frontline, first revealed Project NET on December 27th, 2024. The game underwent its initial localized test in several SEA countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines) from January 9th to 16th, 2025.

Building upon the success of the original Girls’ Frontline (launched in 2016) and its recent sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium (released December 5th, 2024), Project NET promises to deliver a familiar yet exciting experience for fans. Expect to see beloved characters and the distinctive aesthetic of the franchise.

While an official release date remains unannounced, Project NET is currently planned for release on iOS and Android, mirroring the platforms used in its initial test.
