Barricading Windows: A Step-by-Step Guide

To effectively board up a window, you'll need three key items: a wooden plank, a hammer, and four nails. Once you've gathered these supplies, simply right-click the target window. Your character will automatically begin securing the plank. Each window supports up to four planks for enhanced protection.

Hammers and nails are commonly found in typical locations like toolboxes, garages, sheds, and closets. Wooden planks are frequently located at construction sites, or can be salvaged by dismantling wooden furniture (shelves, chairs, etc.). Administrators can utilize the "/additem" command for item spawning.

The effectiveness of your barricade is directly proportional to the number of planks used. More planks significantly increase the time it takes for zombies to breach the window. To remove planks, right-click the boards and select "Remove," requiring a claw hammer or crowbar.

Important Note: Larger furniture items (bookshelves, refrigerators) are ineffective as window barriers, as both players and zombies will pass through them.

While wooden planks offer a basic defense, more advanced barricades using metal bars or sheets are achievable with sufficient Metalworking skill.
