Sony Unveils Stylish Midnight Black PlayStation 5 Accessories
Sony has unveiled its new Midnight Black Collection for the PlayStation 5, adding a sleek, dark aesthetic to several popular accessories. The collection includes the DualSense Edge wireless controller, PlayStation Portal handheld, Pulse Elite wireless headset, and Pulse Explore wireless earbuds.
This stylish collection follows the success of previous color variations for the DualSense controller, expanding Sony's options for gamers who prefer a darker look. The timing coincides with the excitement surrounding CES 2025, adding to the buzz around PlayStation's latest offerings. Rumors of a PlayStation VR2 upgrade further enhance the appeal of Sony's new technology.

The Midnight Black Collection accessories are priced as follows:

Note that the Pulse Elite headset's price is higher than its predecessor, the Pulse 3D wireless headset, reflecting enhanced features. Both the headset and earbuds come with a felt gray carrying case.
Pre-orders begin January 16th, 2025, at 10 am ET, exclusively through direct.playstation.com. The full launch is set for February 20th, 2025.
