PUBG Mobile has announced the opening of registration for its 2025 Global Open, offering amateur teams and players worldwide a chance to compete for a share of a $500,000 prize pool. Registration is open until February 9th.

The main event will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from April 12th to 13th. This tournament is part of PUBG Mobile Esports' larger initiative to cultivate its grassroots competitive scene, with a planned investment of $10 million in prize pools, third-party tournament incentives, and more.

Aspiring participants must first navigate a series of open qualifiers. Successful teams will advance through multiple stages, culminating in a final showdown with only a few teams remaining.

Building and maintaining a thriving esports ecosystem is challenging, but Krafton’s efforts to foster a grassroots competitive scene for PUBG Mobile appear to be paying off.
