Puella Madoka Magica Magia Exedra (we'll shorten it to Exedra from now on) is adding a new character, Ren Isuzu, following a hugely successful pre-registration campaign exceeding half a million sign-ups.

Exedra, a 3D turn-based RPG based on the popular anime series, is set for imminent mobile release. The addition of Ren Isuzu, a shy yet powerful magical girl, will undoubtedly delight fans. This is a pleasant surprise, as the pre-registration rewards only included fan kits (wallpapers, etc.) for existing characters.

The Magical Girl Life: Not So Easy

It's somewhat ironic that Puella Madoka Magica, celebrated for its intelligent and often unconventional take on the magical girl trope, has become synonymous with its extensive merchandising. However, this is understandable given its widespread popularity both domestically and internationally.

The shift towards fully 3D battles, as seen in Exedra's visually impressive combat sequences, is a noteworthy trend. Fans who appreciated the original anime's animation will find Exedra's visuals equally captivating.
