Palworld's Dark Fragments: A Guide to Acquisition and Use

Pocketpair's Palworld, renowned for its expansive open world and diverse Pals, offers a wealth of crafting materials. One such valuable resource, Dark Fragments, is crucial for creating high-level equipment. This guide details how to obtain and utilize these elusive Feybreak exclusives.

Obtaining Dark Fragments

Dark Fragments are uniquely obtained from Dark-elemental Pals found only on Feybreak Island. Unlike other regions, Pals on Feybreak's beaches and shallower areas are predominantly ground and water types. To find Dark-elemental Pals, venture further inland. Note that some, like Starryon, are primarily nocturnal unless encountered as boss variants.

Capturing or defeating these Pals (using Ultimate or Exotic Spheres is recommended) yields 1-3 Dark Fragments per encounter. The drop isn't guaranteed, but diligent hunting will provide a sufficient supply.
