Mastering Crew Recruitment in Citizen Sleeper 2

This guide details how to acquire every crew member in Citizen Sleeper 2. Remember, while recruitment is usually straightforward (accepting their offer to join), success in certain Contracts or events might influence your ability to recruit specific individuals. Also note that crew members can be lost through unfortunate dice rolls or missed opportunities.

Initial Crew:

Serafin and Bliss are automatically added to your crew and are not associated with any achievements. While Serafin remains with your crew throughout the game, he's generally unavailable for Contracts.

How to Recruit Juni:

Juni is initially a temporary crew member encountered on Hexport. To permanently recruit Juni, complete the "Idle Minds" clock at Solheim Records. A cutscene will follow, leading to a Contract. Agree to allow Juni back onto your ship after completing this Contract. Recruiting Juni unlocks the "Data Archaeologist" achievement.

How to Recruit Yu-Jin:

Find Yu-Jin on Far Spindle after completing the "Getting Wracked" clock at Gaia's Gyre (requires ordering a Wrack four times, costing 16 Cryo). This will unlock a Contract with Yu-Jin. Complete the Contract to permanently add him to your team. Recruiting Yu-Jin unlocks the "The Freelancer" achievement.

How to Recruit Luis:

During the "Aphelion Beacon" Contract, choose to leave Yu-Jin behind to recruit Luis. Recruiting Luis unlocks the "Signalchaser" achievement.

How to Recruit Kadet:

Meet Kadet on Far Spindle after completing the "Spindle Core" clock at the Spindle Core location. This unlocks a new drive and the Stripline Express location. Complete the new options at Stripline Express, triggering a cutscene. Then, travel to the Scatteryards (a different area of The Belt) to recruit Kadet. Recruiting Kadet unlocks the "The Spindlejack" achievement.

How to Recruit Femi or Nia:

You can recruit either Femi or Nia, but not both. You'll initially encounter Nia on Hexport, where you'll also meet Femi. Later, Femi will appear on Floatsam, offering a Contract to ensure Nia's safety. Complete the Contract to choose between recruiting Femi (unlocks "Big Brother" achievement) or Nia (unlocks "Little Sister" achievement).

How to Recruit Flint:

After your first visit to Olivera, you'll receive a Contract to investigate Flint's disappearance. This leads to another Contract requiring quick action to set a trap for an enemy. Follow Xander to rescue Flint and successfully complete the Contract to recruit him. Recruiting Flint unlocks the "Fugitive" achievement.
