Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and modes, including a fresh set of challenges rewarding players with freebies like a Thor skin. This guide focuses on triggering Recursive Destruction in the Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown map.

What is Recursive Destruction?

The "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge requires triggering Recursive Destruction. This occurs when destroying a Dracula-influenced object, causing it to reappear in its original state. However, not all objects qualify.

Locating Destructible Objects

To identify eligible objects, utilize Chrono Vision (keyboard "B" or console right D-pad button). Only red-highlighted objects trigger Recursive Destruction.

Triggering Recursive Destruction in Midtown

This challenge requires playing Quick Match (Midtown). Initially, no red-highlighted objects will be visible. Wait for the first checkpoint; two buildings will then appear, capable of triggering Recursive Destruction.

Strategically destroy these buildings amidst combat. You might not always see the reappearance due to the fast-paced action, but multiple hits should suffice. If unsuccessful, replay the match. After completing this, subsequent challenges focus on the new characters, Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
