All Monsters in R.E.P.O.
Animal
Threat Level: Low
The Animal is swift but poses minimal danger, dealing very little damage. It's incredibly easy to dispatch as it won't retaliate, making it a low-threat target.
Apex Predator (Duck)
Threat Level: Low
The Apex Predator remains harmless unless provoked. If you're looking to earn some quick cash, you can eliminate it by luring it to the extraction zone and crushing it with the piston.
Bang
Threat Level: Medium
True to its name, the Bang is an explosive, grenade-like enemy that will rush and detonate upon spotting or being attacked. To neutralize it safely, pick it up and throw it into water, lava, or acid. Cleverly, Bangs can also be used to damage other monsters.
Bowtie
Threat Level: Low
When a Bowtie spots you, it emits a scream that immobilizes you, preventing running and jumping while pushing you back. Although the scream itself is harmless, it can force you into harmful objects. Bowties are slow and vulnerable when screaming, making them easy targets if you can sneak up on them undetected.
Chef
Threat Level: Medium
The Chef's attack patterns are predictable. It leaps towards you to slash with its knives but becomes off-balance if you dodge, providing a window for counterattacks.
Clown
Threat Level: High
The Clown poses a significant threat with its laser beam attack that adjusts to your height and a charging melee attack. However, after firing its laser, it momentarily stuns, offering a brief opportunity for escape or attack.
Gnome
Threat Level: Low
Gnomes often move in groups and prioritize destroying your loot over attacking you. They're weak and can be killed simply by picking them up and slamming them into a wall or the floor.
Headman
Threat Level: Low
The Headman, a floating head, is generally harmless unless provoked by light. It's best to leave it alone unless necessary.
Hidden
Threat Level: Medium
The Hidden, appearing as a cloud of black smoke, can stun you and cause you to drop your items, potentially dragging you towards other enemies. Due to its elusive nature, it's advisable to hide rather than confront it.
Huntsman
Threat Level: Medium
The Huntsman, though blind, reacts aggressively to sound with its shotgun, which can be lethal at close range. It follows a set patrol route, making it easier to avoid than engage.
Mentalist
Threat Level: Medium
The Mentalist, resembling an alien, uses an anti-gravity field to levitate and then slam objects and players to the ground. It can teleport, making it hard to evade. However, it's vulnerable to melee attacks and can be rescued from its field by other players.
Reaper
Threat Level: Medium
The Reaper, while strong, is slow and deaf, making it easy to avoid. If you must engage, use ranged weapons for a safer approach.
Robe
Threat Level: High
Robe is fast and aggressive, chasing players and dealing significant damage. Looking directly at it causes it to enter a frenzy, increasing its speed. Due to its high HP, it's best to avoid direct confrontation and hide until it moves away.
Rugrat
Threat Level: Low
Rugrat, generally harmless, scavenges for items and throws them at players if spotted. It runs away if empty-handed. It's advisable to avoid it, as killing it requires multiple people to lift and smash it.
Spewer
Threat Level: Medium
The Spewer, resembling a tadpole, chases players and vomits to cause them to vomit as well, potentially damaging nearby players or items. Grabbing and shaking it will make it retreat.
Shadow Child
Threat Level: Low
Despite its eerie appearance, the Shadow Child is not threatening, boasting a very low HP that allows for one-shot kills with most attacks.
Trudge
Threat Level: High
Trudge, like the Reaper, is deadly but slow. It pulls players towards it before striking with its mace, often resulting in an instant kill. Hiding is the best strategy, as engaging it is resource-intensive.
Upscream
Threat Level: Medium
Upscreams travel in groups and can throw you back, dealing damage and stunning you. They are susceptible to most attacks, but the tranq gun is particularly effective, allowing you to stun and then slam them into a wall or floor.
