"Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed: First Global Collab with Ezio"
In a thrilling announcement made back in January, Bluepoch Games unveiled an eagerly anticipated collaboration between Reverse: 1999 and Ubisoft's iconic Assassin’s Creed series. The crossover, set to launch in August 2025 across Android, iOS, and PC, promises to bring the legendary Ezio Auditore da Firenze from Assassin’s Creed II into the time-traveling world of Reverse: 1999. Alongside Ezio, fans can expect a deep dive into the worlds of both Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey.
The collaboration has been split into two exciting phases, each packed with Assassin’s Creed-themed narratives and events. Phase I will transport players back to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate the intricate streets of 15th-century Italy, unraveling cryptic clues along the way. Phase II shifts the scene to the ancient landscapes of Greece, echoing the adventures of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, where familiar events from the game will intertwine with Vertin's journey.
A teaser released in January hinted at this epic crossover, showcasing Vertin walking through a rainy street with the glowing Assassin’s Creed logo illuminating the distance. You can watch the full crossover trailer below to get a glimpse of what’s in store:
This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time that all global servers will be synchronized, ensuring that players worldwide can enjoy the event simultaneously. Reverse: 1999 is a unique time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. In the game, you play as Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon called The Storm. After these storms strike, entire eras vanish, and Vertin, alongside her partner Sonetto, journeys through different timelines to rescue other arcanists sensitive to these temporal shifts.
If you haven't yet experienced the adventure of Reverse: 1999, you can dive into the game by downloading it from the Google Play Store.
