Bluepoch Games' time-travel RPG, Reverse: 1999, is celebrating its first anniversary with a massive Version 1.9 update, aptly titled "Vereinsamt" (Lonely in German). This update brings a wealth of new content for players to enjoy.

A Gift for the Anniversary

To commemorate the occasion, players can claim Semmelweis, a free 6-star character, along with 30 free gacha pulls simply by logging in during the event.

The update also introduces Lucy, a new 6-star DPS character. Inspired by the classic film Metropolis, Lucy is a robot-like Awakened arcanist with a deep connection to a Watt steam engine prototype and a passion for scientific advancement. She's available via a limited-time banner, "Thoughts in Cylinder."

Returning favorites include the 5-star character Matilda and Kakania (first seen in Version 1.7), both summonable in the "Observation into the Mirrors" banner starting October 10th.

A new rogue-like mode, "A Series of Dusks," is on its way, offering players the chance to earn Lorelei, a new 5-star character, and other rewards.

Exciting collaborations are also planned. Discovery will provide new outfits for Tooth Fairy and Getian, while a KOI collaboration, launching in October, will feature special limited-edition merchandise.

Version 1.9 also marks the debut of the game's first unique garment. Regulus receives the "Take Off! To the Future" outfit, complete with new Ultimates and additional features. Several other characters, including Jessica, Voyager, and Sonetto, will also receive new clothing options.
