Revue Starlight Re LIVE is officially shutting down. The mobile game, based on the anime series, will cease operations on September 30th, 2024, at 07:00 UTC after nearly six years on Android.

Revue Starlight Re LIVE, while initially a promising continuation of the anime's story, ultimately struggled to maintain player engagement. Factors contributing to its closure include repetitive events, reused assets, and costly battle passes. Storyline inconsistencies, such as a sudden shift in narrative focus, also impacted the game's popularity. The shutdown affects the game globally, including Japan.

Despite its shortcomings, the game boasted a strong soundtrack featuring music from the anime, impressive 3D graphics, and engaging Live2D animations.
