Dandy Ace has made its debut on mobile. The acclaimed 2021 roguelike dungeon crawler from developer Mad Mimic now brings its magical mayhem to handheld screens. The story begins with a disastrous illusion, entangling its flamboyant magician protagonist.

An Intriguing Premise

The magician Dandy Ace is imprisoned within a cursed mirror by the Green-Eyed Illusionist, Lele. The palace surrounding him reconstitutes with every escape attempt. His only hope is to repeatedly plunge into its shifting halls, battling bizarre creatures and formidable bosses.

Each run aims to gather enough power to edge closer to freedom. This core loop hinges on trying, falling, and trying again, all while accumulating permanent upgrades that gradually shift the odds in your favor.

Presented in a vibrant 2D isometric style, rooms become chaotic with attacks from every angle, and the colorful aesthetic adds a theatrical touch. Central to the experience is the magic card system, where every attack and ability originates from a card that can be combined and slotted in numerous ways.

This allows for over a thousand possible combinations. The mobile version launches with all content unlocked from the start, letting you experiment with the full arsenal immediately. It also includes the various assistants and unconventional allies from previous updates.
