TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of the popular monster-collecting game Coromon by TRAGsoft (initially launched on PC and Switch), a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free), slated for release next year, will be available on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title aims to seamlessly integrate the turn-based combat of its predecessor with roguelite elements, creating a highly replayable monster-collecting experience. The Steam page boasts features such as 10 dynamically changing biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and much more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:

The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile game. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile upon its release, and whether it launches simultaneously with the Switch and Steam versions. Based on the Steam screenshots, it seems perfectly suited for short bursts of gameplay. In the meantime, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS here.
