Housemarque's Saros, a PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro exclusive, is slated for release in 2026. Building upon the success of Returnal, Saros promises to refine and expand upon the thrilling third-person action gameplay. The game will feature Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.

A New Chapter, Building on Success

According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived to allow Returnal to stand alone as a distinct IP. Saros will iterate on Returnal's narrative and mechanics, introducing a system of permanent and evolving loadouts (weapons and suits) to enhance the "Come Back Stronger" gameplay loop. Unlike Returnal's shifting roguelike biomes, Saros will provide players with persistent progression, allowing them to overcome challenges with increasingly powerful equipment.
