While the G3 launched in 2023 (one generation behind the G4), it surpasses all other LG TVs—OLED or otherwise—except for its 2024 successor. The G-series outperforms the C-series. Both utilize brighter "Evo" panels, but the G3 adds MLA (micro lens array) technology for even greater brightness, rivaling Samsung's Quantum Dot OLED TVs in image quality. This technology significantly increases the cost, but the picture quality reflects the investment.
