The Sims franchise is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a bang, and while Electronic Arts has unveiled an anniversary roadmap, exciting surprises may still be in store.

A recent Sims teaser hinted at the series' first two games, igniting fan speculation about a potential return of these classics. While unconfirmed, Kotaku sources suggest a possible digital PC release of The Sims 1 and 2, complete with their original expansion packs, by the end of the week from EA and Maxis Games.

However, the question of console releases and their timing remains unanswered. Given the potential for nostalgic profits, it seems unlikely EA would overlook this opportunity.
