Electronic Arts recently hosted a livestream event to commemorate the 25th anniversary of The Sims franchise. The broadcast unveiled a series of celebratory gifts and in-game events planned for The Sims 4 players.

The festivities have already commenced with a new update addressing various bugs, featuring a revamped main menu, and enhanced game optimization. Several classic homes in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs have also undergone a stylish renovation. These updated versions are automatically implemented in new games, while existing saves can access them via the in-game library.

The main anniversary celebration begins February 4th with an update delivering over 70 free, new items! Simultaneously, the "Blast from the Past" in-game event launches, offering players retro-themed rewards through a series of simple challenges.

A new season, "Motherlode," is also scheduled to debut on February 6th. Further details about this season's content remain undisclosed for now.
