Players embark on a quest to rescue their kidnapped wife, a mission that may ultimately determine the fate of the world. Attacked on their wedding day, the protagonist's bride is abducted, setting the stage for an epic journey to thwart the war machines.

Vay's captivating narrative blends nostalgia with fresh elements. It stays true to its JRPG roots, with experience and gold earned through random encounters. Nearly ten minutes of animated cutscenes are included, offering both English and Japanese audio options.
