Marvel's Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Animated Series Gets Early Season 2 and 3 Renewals

The Disney+ animated series, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, chronicling Peter Parker's freshman year of high school, has received a significant early renewal. Marvel Studios head of streaming, television, and animation, Brad Winderbaum, confirmed that not only has Season 2 been greenlit, with scripts completed and half the animatics finished, but Season 3 is also officially in development. This announcement comes even before the Season 1 premiere on January 29th.

Winderbaum expressed his enthusiasm for the series, stating that he's "fallen so head over heels in love with these characters." He highlighted the show's narrative structure, emphasizing how the groundwork laid in Season 1 will yield significant payoffs in later seasons. He anticipates a deepening of character connections and plot development in subsequent seasons.
