Their signature "Friends Pass" system, requiring only one purchase for two-player enjoyment, remains a distinctive feature, establishing a unique niche. While past titles lacked cross-play, a feature seemingly perfect for their collaborative design, this limitation is now a thing of the past.

Excitingly, Split Fiction will fully embrace cross-play functionality, as officially confirmed by the developers. The popular Friends Pass system returns, meaning only one player needs to buy the game for a two-player experience (both players will, however, need an EA account).

Adding to the anticipation, Hazelight has unveiled a playable demo, enabling players to experience Split Fiction together before committing to a full purchase. Progress made in the demo will seamlessly carry over to the full game.
