Publisher Dotemu, in collaboration with studios Guard Crush Games and Supamonks, has announced the upcoming release of Absolum, a thrilling fantasy beat 'em up infused with roguelite mechanics. Set in the enchanting yet ravaged world of Talamh, the narrative unfolds following a devastating magical cataclysm. The inhabitants of this world harbor a deep-seated fear of magic, a fear expertly manipulated by the tyrannical ruler, King-Sun Azra. He utilizes his oppressive Crimson Order to enslave mages, perpetuating his reign of terror.

Amidst this chaos, a valiant group of heroes emerges to challenge Azra's tyranny. This diverse ensemble includes the necromancer Galandra, the fiery rebel gnome Karl, the skilled mage Brom, and the enigmatic Sidr. Players will dive into a world of intense action, where they can enhance their characters' abilities, master powerful combos, and unleash a variety of magical spells.
