Hello, readers! Welcome to the SwitchArcade Round-Up for August 26th, 2024. Today's update is a bit lighter than usual. I'm juggling some other projects, so reviews are on hold for today. We'll cover a few new releases and the usual sales lists – and at least one of the new releases is intriguing! The sales aren't bad either. Hopefully, I'll have those reviews for you tomorrow. Featured New Releases

Fragrant Story and Papaya's Path ($7.99)

Let's clear up the confusion surrounding Fragrant Story, a purported final Nintendo 3DS title. While advertised as a robust tactical RPG, early buyers found a shockingly short experience (around 20 minutes). The truth? The developer rushed an incomplete version to meet Nintendo's 3DS deadline. Subsequent updates transformed it into a much fuller game, exceeding ten hours of gameplay. This version includes all updates, making it a worthwhile $8 purchase for fans of the genre.

Quack Jump ($3.99)

A straightforward platformer, but a solid one. With 40 levels and evolving mechanics, it offers decent replayability for its $4 price tag.

Underground Station ($7.90)

An idle game where you pay off debts through dungeon work. Visually unassuming, but a welcome distraction on a day when AI-generated content is, let's say, less appealing.
