Tekken 8 Adds Anna Williams as Playable Character
Bandai Namco has revealed Anna Williams' gameplay trailer for Tekken 8 Season 2, highlighting her combat techniques, fresh customization options, and new intro sequences - including a special sisterly rivalry cutscene when facing Nina Williams.
Fierce Sibling Rivalry Returns
Nina Williams' notorious sister will debut as Season 2's first combatant. Character Year 2 Pass holders gain early access on March 31, with all other players following on April 3.
The trailer also provided glimpses of upcoming content scheduled through early 2026:
- Summer 2025: New fighter and battle arena
- Fall 2025: Additional fighter
- Winter 2025/2026: Another fighter and arena
Record-Breaking Performance
Bandai Namco reported impressive sales figures showing Tekken 8 has surpassed 3 million copies sold. The fighting sequel is outpacing its predecessor's sales velocity - Tekken 7 has achieved over 12 million lifetime sales to date.
Currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Tekken 8 launched globally on January 26, 2024.
