Unlocking Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren: A Guide to Obtaining this Epic World of Warcraft Mount

Obtaining the magnificent Stormcrow mount, Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren, is a rewarding endeavor in World of Warcraft's Siren's Call event within the War Within expansion. This guide details the steps to acquire this unique flying mount. Note that the Siren's Call event features a Storm phase, crucial for several steps.

Gathering the Runekeys:

Five Runekeys are required to summon Thrayir:

1. Whirling Runekey: This key drops from Ksvir the Forgotten, a rare spawn found in the Forgotten Vault's southernmost chamber only during a Storm.

2. Torrential Runekey: Collect seven Torrential Fragments from any enemy on Siren Isle during a Storm phase.

3. Thunderous Runekey: Gather five Thunderous Fragments from chests located across Siren Isle. Unlike the others, these chests aren't restricted to Storm phases.

4. Cyclonic Runekey: This key is obtained through fishing anywhere on Siren Isle during a Storm, or as a possible drop from Zek’ul the Shipbreaker in the Deadfin Mire.

5. Turbulent Runekey: Locate three Turbulent Fragments at these specific locations near Kul Tiran ghosts:

   • Behind the abandoned inn, dig in the garden.
   • Inside a cave in the Rotting Hole zone (the ghost will be cowering).
   • Inside the Spirit-Scarred Cave (the ghost offers the fragment).

The Final Ritual:

Once all Runekeys are collected, return to the Forgotten Vault during the Seafury Tempest phase of the Siren's Call event. Other phases won't trigger the ritual. Proceed to the eastern chamber.

Thrayir's body will be on a platform with five runestone slots. Insert the corresponding Runekeys, and you'll receive the quest "Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren." Complete the quest to claim your magnificent mount!
