UFO-Man: A Physics-Based Puzzle Game Set to Launch on Steam and iOS
Indie developer Dyglone has revealed their upcoming physics-based puzzle game, UFO-Man, launching on Steam and iOS. The deceptively simple objective—transporting a box using your UFO's tractor beam—quickly escalates into a frustratingly challenging experience.
Players must navigate complex levels filled with treacherous terrain, precarious platforms, and speeding vehicles. The absence of checkpoints adds another layer of difficulty; dropping the cargo means restarting the level from scratch. This punishing gameplay is balanced, however, by a calming soundtrack and charming low-poly visuals.
Inspired by the Japanese bar game "Iraira-bou," UFO-Man offers a unique blend of skill and patience. To mitigate the frustration, a "Crash Count" feature tracks the number of collisions, encouraging players to strive for perfection.
The game's challenging nature is further emphasized by its lack of checkpoints. Each failure necessitates a complete restart, adding to the overall difficulty.
