Ultimate Arise Crossover: Beginner's Guide Unveiled

*Arise Crossover* might seem simple at first glance, where you command Shadow units to take down defenseless enemies to upgrade and collect even stronger Shadows. However, reaching the endgame revealed that many players were unsure about progression, leveling up, and choosing the right Shadows. If you're feeling lost, this guide is here to help you navigate through *Arise Crossover* with ease.
How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover
In *Arise Crossover*, each of the three islands offers several Shadows you can recruit, alongside a powerful dungeon Shadow. The weakest unit currently is Soondoo, available right from the start, whereas Mifalcon, found on Brum Island, is the strongest. However, it's not just about the type of Shadow; their rank matters significantly. A Rank A Soondoo surpasses a Rank D Mifalcon in power. Higher-ranked units can reach higher levels; for instance, a Rank D unit tops out at Level 75, while an SS-ranked unit can level up to 200. Your ultimate goal? A team of four SS-ranked Mifalcons, but the journey to get there is where the fun lies.
Arise Crossover Dungeon Guide
Dungeon Portals in *Arise Crossover* appear every 30 minutes and remain open for 15 minutes. Even if you enter a portal just before it closes, you're allowed to complete the entire dungeon. These portals can spawn in various locations on each island, with random difficulty levels.
Start your journey by forming a team of Rank D units and tackling a Rank D or C dungeon on Leveling Island. This approach should help you amass a solid collection of units, potentially including a rare boss Shadow. Dungeons are your key to recruiting Rare and higher-ranked common units.
When you receive a notification about a new portal, go for it. If your team isn't up to the challenge, hang out near the portal and wait for a more experienced player to join. Many players can solo these dungeons and often don't mind helping others. Accepting their help can lead to acquiring higher-ranked units, which is essential for your progression in *Arise Crossover*.
Our experience included being guided through a Rank A dungeon with just Rank C units, which helped us recruit Rank A units and push towards the endgame. We later paid it forward by helping others with Rank D units through a Rank S dungeon. We encourage you to do the same.
Arise Crossover Weapons
During this Beta phase, weapons in *Arise Crossover* are largely ineffective. They may help at the very beginning but become less impactful as you progress, especially after reaching the second island. The Iron Kando Blade, the strongest common weapon, costs 60 million and deals 516,1K damage, which pales compared to the millions your units can output. Unless you're eager to spend, it's wise to save your resources until future updates potentially enhance the role of weapons.
How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover
Similar to dungeons, wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes, with only one player on the server able to attempt claiming them. A server-wide message alerts you to a new spawn, but you won't be notified if someone else claims it or if it disappears.
Mounts can appear in six different locations: on the back of main islands or on smaller islands between them. Refer to the official map for exact spawn points.
You can't claim the same mount twice, and there's a chance of failing to capture one. Flying mounts are the rarest, with a 10% spawn rate, while ground mounts are more common, and water mounts can be purchased from the Boat Shop NPC.
To get a mount, keep an eye out for the server message and quickly check all six locations. Mounts aren't necessary for progressing through the game, but a flying mount can significantly ease your travels.
This guide covers the essentials for getting started in *Arise Crossover*. As the game evolves with updates, we'll continue to refine this guide. In the meantime, don't forget to check out *Arise Crossover* codes for some free goodies to help you along your journey.
