Cygames has launched official English language support across its website, YouTube channel, and X (formerly Twitter) account to keep fans updated on the global release.

For newcomers, Uma Musume Pretty Derby is part of a larger multimedia franchise encompassing anime, manga, and more. Its popularity stems largely from the success of the anime series.

Originally released in Japan and Asia in February 2021 for Android and iOS, the game features horse girls—racehorses reincarnated as girls in an alternate universe—competing in the "Twinkle Series," a national sports entertainment spectacle, to become top idols.

While the game hasn't had a global release until now, characters like Gold Ship from Team Spica have already appeared in internationally released games such as Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. Expect more crossovers once the English version launches.
