Umamusume: Pretty Derby Is a Sports-Life Simulator

The game centers on a comprehensive training system. As a Trainer, your role is to guide each horse girl to unlock her full potential via racing, support activities, and skill progression.

In Career Mode, you concentrate on a single trainee and select two legacy Umamusume for inspiration. These veterans pass down Sparks—unique stat boosts tied to specific aptitudes, attributes, and skills.

You also pick six support cards that shape your trainee’s growth, affecting event triggers, stat bonuses, and learnable skills. Your ultimate goal is to help your Umamusume win key races and dazzle during post-race performances, which are fully animated 3D concerts.

The Races Are a Spectacle!

Up to 18 Umamusume sprint down the track accompanied by live-style commentary, enhancing the real-sports atmosphere. Every win concludes with a celebratory stage performance, creating a compelling loop of training, racing, winning, and performing.

For deeper competition, dive into Team Trials—a PvP mode where teams of 15 Umamusume challenge others. Races vary by distance and track type: Sprint, Mile, Medium, and Long races take place on turf, while Dirt races always run one mile on a dirt track.

Umamusume: Pretty Derby is celebrating its launch with special in-game rewards for new players. Logging in now grants carats and a Trainee Umamusume Scout Ticket. Also, T.M. Opera O is currently available in a rate-up scout.
