Uncharted Waters Origins expands its world with the addition of a captivating new Relationship Chronicle centered around Safiye Sultan, a significant historical figure from the Ottoman Empire known for her shrewd political maneuvering. This update isn't limited to just a new character; it also introduces a fresh seasonal event, "Mates and More," and several new companions.

Safiye Sultan, a real-life Haseki Sultan (chief consort) to Sultan Murad II and mother of Mehmed III, joins the game's roster. While perhaps not as virtuous in reality as her in-game representation, she was a powerful and cunning political figurehead within the Ottoman Empire.

To embark on this new Relationship Chronicle, players must either already possess or recruit Safiye Sultan. Accompanying her are several new Mates: the S-grade Sina Rindai, the A-grade Siti Wan Kembang, and the B-grade Mates Ka Oki' and Cecile Partiman.

Uncharted Waters Origins deserves praise for incorporating lesser-known historical figures and their stories, albeit with a degree of romanticization.
