Unlock All BlazBlue Entropy Effect Characters: Guide

Unlocking characters in *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* is a unique process that involves collecting items called Prototype Analyzers. These are essential for unlocking each new character, except for the DLC characters which you can unlock by purchasing them. Our comprehensive guide walks you through how to acquire Prototype Analyzers and introduces you to every playable character in the game.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect: How To Unlock Characters

You'll receive your first Prototype Analyzer upon completing the tutorial, along with guidance on how to use it. After exiting the Acer Program room via the passage to your right, you'll find yourself in a room with a glowing platform. Interact with this platform to access the character selection menu and choose your desired character.

To unlock additional characters, you'll need more Prototype Analyzers. Return to the same room and interact with the platform again. Note that DLC characters, such as Rachel and Hazama (available as of March 2025), are automatically unlocked once you purchase and install their respective character packs.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect: How To Get More Prototype Analyzers

*Entropy Effect* offers several methods to earn more Prototype Analyzers, though they require patience and effort.

Progress the story: As you advance through the story and complete training missions, you'll unlock gray skills. You'll receive a Prototype Analyzer upon reaching specific milestones such as unlocking 10, 20, and 40 gray skills. Additionally, you'll get one automatically after completing a significant event later in the story. Note that unlocking green skills via Potential doesn't grant Prototype Analyzers. Unless 91Act introduces more skills or alternate methods, you're limited to three from story progression.

Complete Mind Challenges and spend AP: Another way to acquire Prototype Analyzers is by completing Mind Challenges and trading the earned AP with the janitor. Be prepared to spend 5,000 AP per Prototype Analyzer, and don't expect to do this frequently.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect: All Characters

As of March 2025, *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* features 12 characters, with 10 included in the base game and 2 available as paid DLC. Here's an overview of each character and how to unlock them using Prototype Analyzers, excluding the DLC characters.

Ragna the Bloodedge

Ragna from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Ragna is a melee fighter with a unique twist. He excels in close-range combat and powers up as his HP decreases. His special ability allows him to sacrifice health to enhance his performance and then regain some of it by attacking his enemies.

Jin Kisaragi

Jin from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Jin is another melee combatant, specializing in swordplay and ice-based skills. He can freeze enemies and, with well-timed combos, boost his strength significantly while disorienting foes with super speed.

Noel Vermillion

Noel from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Noel stands out as a ranged combat expert. She can launch missiles in any direction and has a unique ability to shorten her skill cooldown times. Additionally, she can continue casting skills even after her MP depletes using Over-Exhaust.

Taokaka

Taokaka from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Although Taokaka may struggle against heavily armored foes, her versatility in build options compensates for this. Her Spinny Spinny attack allows her to hit multiple times and stack status effects, making almost any build viable for her.

Hakumen

Hakumen from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Hakumen embodies the tank archetype with his slow, bulky nature and powerful attacks. He can counter incoming attacks at a reduced MP cost and can be equipped with a midair attack to handle various enemy types.

Lambda-11

Lamda-11 from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Lambda-11 is versatile, capable of both close- and long-range combat. She learns skills that deal damage over time and can adapt to any combat scenario with ease.

Kokonoe

Kokonoe from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Kokonoe may be considered one of the weaker characters due to her reliance on careful management of lasers and crowd control effects. However, with the right damage-over-time build, she remains a formidable player.

Hibiki Kohaku

Hibiki from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Hibiki excels at evasion and crowd control, making him less about raw power and more about staying out of harm's way. His ability to avoid enemy attacks makes him a valuable asset.

Es

Es from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Es is incredibly powerful even without unlocking potentials. She can counter after dodging, perform mid-air combos, and control crowds effectively, making her a well-rounded fighter.

Mai Nastume

Mai from BlazBlue Entropy effect

Mai has a high skill ceiling and can be challenging to master. Her effectiveness hinges on understanding her combo mechanics, particularly her Heavy Attack, which she can use to maximize damage and mobility.

Rachel Alucard

Rachel from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Rachel is an overpowered character with exceptional speed and the ability to reset her dodge moves. Her skills cover large areas and include a near-unavoidable stunning attack, making her a top choice for players.

Hazama

Hazama from BlazBlue Entropy Effect

Hazama requires strategic play due to his complex, input-heavy moves. Mastering his skills comes with a steep learning curve, but once achieved, he becomes one of the game's strongest characters.

This covers all the characters in *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* and the methods to unlock them using Prototype Analyzers.

*BlazBlue Entropy Effect is available now on PC.*
