Where To Find The Engine Blade in NieR: Automata

The Engine Blade is located within the factory area, but not accessible during the game's opening. You'll need to progress to a later point in the game as 2B. Chapter Select (Chapter 9) provides a quick route. Begin at the Factory: Hanger access point.

Exiting the access point, follow the right path (2D camera perspective). Pass a fenced area, ascend broken stairs, and navigate conveyor belts with moving boxes and potentially lethal presses. Jump to the next cylinder, evading spider-like enemies.

Enter the door to your left, climbing more stairs while avoiding exploding enemies. A railing break leads to a platform extending towards the camera. Shift the camera angle for another 2D platforming section, traversing above presses to the left. The final room contains three chests; the Engine Blade is in the leftmost chest.

Caution: Exploding enemies will descend from the ceiling as you approach.
