SteamWorld Heist 2 最初在 4 月份发布首支预告片时被确认将登陆 Game Pass。SteamWorld Heist 2 是 2015 年一款回合制策略游戏的续作，其独特的 2D 视角战术射击玩法，玩家手动瞄准机器人武器，使其脱颖而出。
据 XboxEra 报道，SteamWorld Heist 2 的公关团队 Fortyseven 澄清说，这款策略游戏最终不会登陆 Game Pass。Fortyseven 表示，预告片中出现的 Game Pass 徽标是“无意中包含”的，这导致了混淆。所有其他提及 Game Pass 版本的社交媒体帖子也都已不可访问。虽然该游戏不会在 Game Pass 上发布，但它仍然定于 8 月 8 日在 PC、Nintendo Switch、PlayStation 4、PlayStation 5、Xbox One 和 Xbox Series X/S 平台上推出。
