Niantic has announced the arrival of Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai, in Pokémon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over event, commencing January 15th. Beyond these new additions, the event boasts exciting bonuses and raid battles.

Shroodle, a Poison/Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, is characterized by its large head and expressive eyes. Evolving at level 28, it transforms into Grafaiai, a lemur-like Pokémon with distinctive multi-sized fingers. Both have also appeared in Pokémon Horizons.

The Fashion Week: Taken Over event runs from January 15th, 12:00 AM to January 19th, 8:00 PM local time. Shroodle will hatch from 12 km Eggs, evolving into Grafaiai with 50 Shroodle Candy. Team GO Rocket will be more prevalent in balloons and at PokéStops, and Charged TMs can be used to remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon. Snapshot encounters with a fashionably dressed Croagunk are also possible.

A new Special Research quest allows players to rescue Shadow Palkia. Six new Shadow Pokémon, including Unova starters, will appear. Seven Pokémon feature in Shadow Raids, with Nidoran (male and female) included, and Remote Raid Passes are usable for the first time in these raids. New Field Research tasks offer Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Event-themed Showcases and Collection Challenges are also available. The in-game shop offers a 300-Coin bundle.

The Corviknight evolutionary line debuts in Pokémon GO on January 21st, followed by a Shadow Raid Day and the Classic Community Day featuring Ralts on January 25th.
