Dead Sails Kraken Boss Guide
Your journey begins in the heart of town, positioned across from the Gun Store and Hospital, and right in front of the Trading Hut. Start by shedding any unnecessary loot and equipping yourself properly. I recommend grabbing a Rifle for $75; it's an affordable option with enough firepower to fend off enemies for a good while. Don't forget to purchase coal to keep your boat's old-school engine running smoothly.

Your next destination lies 10,000 meters away. Simply ignite your boat and set sail. While you may encounter Zombies and Drowned along the way, I wouldn't recommend stopping to loot them as the houses offer little of value. To continue your journey, just add more coal and restart the engine. Ignore the worm on the right side; it's harmless. Wait until you reach the second safe zone to sell your accumulated goods, but stay vigilant for Big Foot and Zombie mobs lurking on both sides of the river.

After passing the second safe zone, you'll come across burning buildings teeming with mobs. If you're with friends, clear them out, but solo players might find it inefficient due to the scattered spawn points. At around 12,000 meters, you'll find a castle-like structure filled with Drowned and valuable loot like Shotgun ammo. Use your resources wisely here.

Dead Sails Kraken Tips And Tricks
The core gameplay loop is simple: kill, loot, repeat, and hope your enemies fall. To excel, you need to master efficiency, using your boat as your primary inventory. Clear out your bag when you return to the boat to save time and space.

A useful strategy I discovered while crafting this guide is stacking Zombies near the incinerator. Though it's tempting to rush out of those rural towns, efficient loot management can make a significant difference. Running low on fuel? Just toss a few Zombies into the incinerator to get going again.

Another tip is to be cautious when exploring Sheriff's offices. These areas typically have a higher concentration of mobs, but they're also rich in weapons and ammo. I managed to keep my shotgun stocked by having a teammate sweep the ground floor while we explored each town.

Conserve your ammo, weapons, fuel, and medkits for the fortress at around 25,000 meters. It's still under construction, making it an ideal ambush spot for mobs. I recommend tackling this area with at least three other players, ideally a full squad of five. Be efficient with your loot collection here.

Avoid engaging Big Feet beyond 30,000 meters. They're tough, hit hard, and require a lot of ammo to defeat safely. Don't linger too long; prioritize your stops. Remember, loot isn't everything.
The town past 50,000 meters is one of my favorite spots for farming. With at least two dozen Drowned and Zombies, it's perfect for players with Shotguns or Sawnoffs. It's also an efficient way to gather corpses for fuel, so coordinate with your team to prepare bodies for loading quickly.
How to Defeat the Kraken Boss in Dead Sails Kraken
Before facing the Kraken, sell all your goods at the final safe zone and stock up on ammo, weapons, and medkits. Don't underestimate the Zombies and Drowned; ensure you have a stash of at least 8-10 corpses for fuel during this crucial phase. At around 100,000 meters, you'll reach open waters, signaling the imminent battle as the skies darken.

As the Kraken emerges, everyone must target a tentacle. The boss has substantial health, and each tentacle can attack and cause damage if not countered effectively. With five players, form a pentagram-like formation and focus on your assigned tentacle.

Watch out for the water splash attack, which inflicts area-of-effect damage and is signaled by the Kraken winding back and creating a water trail with its tentacle. Use medkits liberally here, as some damage is unavoidable.

Be cautious of the Roar AoE, which deals minor but unblockable damage and may slightly buff the boss's damage. You'll see it as white concentric circles emanating from the tentacle.

As you can see, defeating the Kraken might seem challenging, but with the right strategy, it's manageable. That concludes my Dead Sails Kraken Guide. To speed up your progress even more, consider using one of our Dead Sails codes. Good luck, and may your journey be smooth sailing!
