Weapon and armor upgrades are performed at Workbenches (pictured above), located at Party Camps. These camps are established near Adra Waystones scattered throughout the world. Interact with a Waystone to set up camp; these locations are marked on your map with a tent icon and are fast-travel enabled. Upgrades require various materials, readily found or craftable, with higher-quality upgrades demanding rarer Adra.

Understanding Weapon and Armor Leveling

Avowed uses a two-pronged system for gear power: Quality and upgrade tiers. Quality is indicated by a numerical value, color rarity (and descriptive adjective), directly correlating to enemy levels in the Living Lands.
