Get ready, Call of Duty: Warzone players! The beloved Verdansk map is making its triumphant return on March 10th, 2025. Activision initially hinted at a spring 2025 release last August, but a recent countdown appearing in the Call of Duty shop confirms the March 10th launch date (thanks to InsiderGaming).

A teaser image accompanying the countdown depicts a classic Verdansk scene: snow-capped mountains, pine trees, a dam, and a crashed plane – a nostalgic trip for veteran players. This marks a significant return, especially considering the 2021 statement that the original Verdansk was gone for good. Currently, the only way to experience this map is through Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.

Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 has launched, featuring five new multiplayer maps (Bounty, Dealership, Lifeline, Bullet, and Grind), the return of Gun Game, new weapons, operators, and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event. Warzone, however, received less content than initially planned due to the team focusing on bug fixes and gameplay improvements.
