New Visual Novel Explores Humanity's Sins
Kemco has just released a compelling new visual novel exclusively for Android devices, titled "Together We Live." This game plunges players into a thought-provoking narrative set in a post-apocalyptic world, exploring themes of human sins and the arduous journey of atonement. While it's freshly available on Android, fans can also enjoy it on Steam for PC.
A Girl Atoning for Humans’ Sins
The story revolves around the protagonist, Kyoya, who embarks on a surreal journey. He awakens in a dimly lit room to discover that it's the year 4000, nearly 2000 years after his last memory. The Earth has transformed into a desolate wasteland, and he's accompanied by a mysterious girl who holds the key to his questions.
This girl is no ordinary companion; she's trapped in a relentless cycle of death and rebirth, each time atoning for the sins of humanity. Her plight is heart-wrenching—she dies repeatedly, only to be resurrected and forced to endure the cycle again. Witnessing her suffering, Kyoya is moved to teach her about the concept of happiness.
The narrative might start off slowly, but patience is rewarded. As the story unfolds, the initial slow pace gives way to a gripping tale filled with twists and turns, where even the smallest details become significant.

Together We Live Makes You Think
"Together We Live" stands out among other visual novels by offering a linear, interactive story that doesn't rely on player choices. The game's art style is simple yet charming, perfectly complementing the story's blend of beauty and sorrow.
The girl's character is fully voiced, adding depth and a haunting quality to her role. The game is currently available in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, though it does not support controllers. You can purchase it on the Google Play Store for $9.99, or play it for free if you're a Play Pass subscriber.
