Xbox's Apology to Enotria Changes Devs' Tune, But Release Date Still UnsetFollowing reported delays in the Xbox certification process for their debut title, Enotria: The Last Song, Jyamma Games received an apology from Microsoft. The tech giant's intervention comes after reports surfaced of a two-month delay in processing the game's submission. This delay initially led Jyamma Games to indefinitely postpone the Xbox release.

Microsoft's Apology and Jyamma Games' Response

Jyamma Games' CEO, Jacky Greco, previously expressed frustration on the game's Discord server, citing a lack of response from Microsoft. However, following Microsoft's apology, the studio expressed gratitude on Twitter (X), thanking Phil Spencer and his team for their swift response and assistance. They also acknowledged the significant support from their player community.

Jyamma Games is now actively collaborating with Microsoft to expedite the Xbox release. While a new release date remains unconfirmed, the developer is optimistic about a future Xbox launch. Greco further elaborated on the situation on the game's Discord, confirming Microsoft's apology and their ongoing efforts to resolve the issue.

Challenges in Xbox Releases

Jyamma Games isn't alone in facing Xbox release hurdles. Funcom recently reported optimization challenges while porting Dune: Awakening to the Xbox Series S.

Despite the ongoing Xbox certification process, the PS5 and PC versions of Enotria: The Last Song are still slated for release on September 19th. The Xbox release date, however, remains uncertain. For more information on Enotria: The Last Song, please refer to the link provided below.
