The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom has already achieved a remarkable feat, topping the most wishlisted games of the summer showcase season. This achievement surpasses major titles like Doom: The Dark Ages, Assassin's Creed Shadows, and fellow Nintendo powerhouse Metroid Prime 4.

Zelda fans were understandably thrilled with the latest Nintendo Direct. While the Switch 2 was absent, the Direct delivered highly anticipated announcements, including Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, and some exciting surprises, chief among them the Zelda-centric title. For years, Zelda fans have clamored for a main series game where they could play as Zelda, a request seemingly ignored by Nintendo until now.
