HoYoverse's mobile hit, Zenless Zone Zero, continues its impressive market performance. The recent version 1.4 update, titled "And the Starfall Came," propelled the game to a record-breaking $8.6 million in daily mobile player spending—surpassing even its July 2024 launch figures.

AppMagic data reveals Zenless Zone Zero's total mobile revenue has already eclipsed $265 million. Update 1.4's success stems from the introduction of new characters, Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa, coupled with enhanced gameplay mechanics, fresh environments, and new game modes, all encouraging increased player spending.

The free availability of Harumasa as a promotional character, alongside a banner featuring Hoshimi Miyabi, significantly contributed to this revenue surge.

Remarkably, HoYoverse managed to sustain player engagement far beyond the typical post-update trend. Unlike the usual post-update spending decline within a week, Zenless Zone Zero maintained daily revenue exceeding $1 million for over 11 consecutive days, and even surpassed $500,000 after two weeks.

While undeniably successful, Zenless Zone Zero still lags behind HoYoverse's flagship titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.
