Scanwords in Russian are a truly unique phenomenon worldwide. No other language offers such a rich variety of literary questions, humorous queries, and contemporary contextual puzzles within what might otherwise be considered mundane crosswords. The Russian people cherish their language, valuing words as their most precious asset.

Our application offers a diverse range of scanwords, from simple to complex, featuring photographs and classic or associative questions like "one word" or "one word, two words," reminiscent of Elder Fur's hints. Each magazine includes an English-Russian scanword and a "holey" one - the reason for this name will become clear upon solving it. You'll be greeted by a character from our cheerful family on every page. Join us and dive into the fun!

All scanwords are freely accessible to readers. This annual collection comprises 52-53 issues, each containing 20 scanwords. The full yearly set will occupy approximately 50 MB on your phone - the images are small, and the text is concise. We understand the importance of conserving space on your device.

You don't need an internet connection to enjoy the puzzles once the scanwords are downloaded onto your phone. A new magazine issue is released every Friday. If you have notifications enabled, you'll receive a reminder at 12:00 local time every Friday. Upon opening the app, the new issue will download automatically, and once successful, it won't download again. You also have the option to download or delete individual magazines or all of them at once through the "Settings."

The core features, including access to all scanwords, are free for users. Advertising supports the app, allowing for one narrow banner per page and one interstitial ad before opening a scanword. Our advertisers do not interrupt your solving experience and reward you with free hints for watching their videos.

Readers have the option, but not the obligation, to manage advertising by: a) disabling it permanently, b) subscribing to remove ads and gain unlimited hints for the subscription period, or c) accumulating hints in bulk. These options are clearly displayed in the "Shop."
