The zombies roaming these grim islands are fierce, but thankfully, there's a shelter to keep you safe. "Look at the cool weapons I've crafted!" Rick exclaimed, brandishing a nail-studded baton at a fallen zombie. "Now, nightmares will turn into night safaris as we conquer this zombie world!" Surviving on an island surrounded by hordes of zombies isn't for the faint-hearted. Battling the undead has helped Rick maintain his sanity and remember the crucial mission that brought him here.

"When I first arrived, I thought it was the zombie apocalypse!" Rick confessed. "Mutants, the living dead, and rival factions fighting for control. We scattered across the island immediately upon arrival. There was no time to prepare; the walking dead—or rather, sprinting dead—attacked us right away. I knew this was a one-way ticket, so I sought shelter instead of pursuing our mysterious task. My instincts were right; a day after landing, communication with our group was lost. I doubt any of them survived!" Rick turned off his recorder, bowed his head over a crocodile, and chuckled, "Finally, I can make my own crocodile shoes."

"I thought today would be my last day on earth!" Rick recounted. "A wave of zombies broke through the steel door of the bunker I was looting. I hid behind a machine, then dashed outside and locked them in. I turned off the air conditioning beforehand, ha ha. Those zombies started dying without air, even screaming inside. Imagine my shock when I realized, upon inspecting the corpses, that it was my own squad! This island is driving me crazy, but at least there's plenty of loot!" With a grin, Rick wheeled a cart full of ammo, armor, and other precious loot.

Time blurred as this role-playing game became a part of Rick's life. "There must be a boss out there. I need to find and defeat it!"

Dead Island is an apocalyptic world where everyone goes mad in their own way. In this role-playing game, you'll need to build and upgrade your shelter, craft items, and gather resources!

Gather resources to craft new weapons and armor. Explore the military bunker for valuable loot, but watch out for traps.

You'll encounter bosses that can only be defeated using specific methods described in quests and notes scattered across the islands.
