  2. Initial Deal: Each player is dealt 13 cards, totaling 52 cards across the game.
  3. Card Arrangement: Players have time to arrange their cards in descending order from highest to lowest.
  4. Signaling Readiness: Once a player has organized their cards, they signal by calling "up."
  5. Game Commencement: The player to the right of the dealer starts the game by playing their cards.
  6. Winning Rounds: The highest card value wins the round, and the winner plays the next set of cards.
  7. Scoring: After all cards are played, points are calculated. Cards from Ace (A) to 10 are worth 10 points, while cards from 9 to 2 are worth 5 points.
  8. Point Values: Specifically, A, K, Q, J, and 10 are valued at 10 points each, whereas 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2 are worth 5 points each.
  9. Winning the Game: The player who accumulates 1000 points first across multiple games is declared the winner.
  10. Tie-Breaker Rules: If multiple players play the same card value, the player who played it later wins the round.
  11. Example Scenario: If Player 1 plays AKQ of Hearts, Player 2 plays 678 of Spades, Player 3 plays AKQ of Diamonds, and Player 4 plays 55J of Hearts, Player 3 wins with AKQ of Diamonds.

Rules for Winning:

  • Troy: Three cards of the same rank, e.g., AAA, KKK, QQQ, JJJ, 10-10-10, down to 222.
  • Color Run: Three consecutive cards of the same suit, e.g., AKQ of Spades, A23 of Diamonds, down to 432 of Clubs.
  • Run: Three consecutive cards of any suit, e.g., AKQ of mixed suits, A23 of mixed suits, down to 432 of mixed suits.
  • Color: Any three cards of the same suit, e.g., KQ2 of Hearts, 589 of Spades. The highest card in the set determines the winner.
  • Pair: Two cards of the same rank with a third card, e.g., 443, 99J, QQ6. Higher pairs, like AAK, rank above lower ones, like 223.
  • Indi or Individuals: Any three cards not forming a set or run, e.g., 5 of Hearts, 7 of Spades, 9 of Diamonds. The highest card in the set determines the winner.
