Story

The DC universe features multiple parallel dimensions known as alternate universes, each with unique events unfolding differently and leading to diverse outcomes.

The game unfolds in an alternate reality where Superman becomes corrupted after being tricked into killing his pregnant wife Lois and millions of civilians in a tragic nuclear accident. He brutally eliminates Joker, the mastermind behind the tragedy, and begins his tyrannical rule over the planet.

With his mind twisted, Superman now sees himself as a supreme deity enforcing peace and order. He loses all restraint, executing anyone he deems guilty.

This tyranny cannot continue, or Earth faces total ruin. A group of superheroes forms the Insurgency, led by Batman, to oppose the dictatorship. Despite their powers, they cannot defeat Superman’s One Earth Regime alone and require assistance.

In response, Batman and the Insurgency devise a plan to teleport heroes from another dimension where Joker’s schemes failed. They seek aid from superheroes of another realm, beginning your epic journey in the world of Injustice.
