Rule customizations include:

• Stick the dealer. The dealer must bid if all others pass.

• Dealer can steal. The dealer can match a previous bid to take it, without going higher.

• Shooting the moon. Bid the maximum to win, or increase it by one for an extra point by taking all tricks.

• Must bid to win. The winner must make the game's final bid in addition to reaching the winning point total.

• Junk points. Optional scoring of points taken by the defending team.

• Minimum bid. Set the required minimum bid from 1 to 10.

• Low point. Award the point for low trump to the capturing team or the player who played it.

• Jokers. Play with zero, one, or two jokers, each worth one point.

• Off-jack. Include the off-jack as an extra trump worth one point.

• Three of trump. Play with the three of trump worth three points.

• Five of trump. Play with the five of trump worth five points.

• Ten of trump. Count the ten of trump as a point instead of toward game score.

• Off-ace. Include the off-ace as an extra trump worth one point.

• Off-three. Include the off-three as an extra trump worth three points.

• Off-five. Include the off-five as an extra trump worth five points.

• Last trick. Optionally score the last trick as a point.

• Leading. Rules for leading trump: makers must lead trump first; any suit may be led anytime; or trump cannot be led until it's broken.

• Following suit. Choose if players can play a trump when following suit.

• Initial deal. Deal six to ten cards initially.

• Discarding. After trump is set, allow or disallow discarding. Options include discarding all non-trump cards or any cards.

• Refilling. When discarding, optionally give the stock to the dealer or the maker.

• Play with trump only. When enabled, players must lead and follow with trump cards only.

• Misdeal. Allow a misdeal when a hand contains only cards ranked 9 or lower.

• Kitty. Deal 2 to 6 cards to the kitty.
